Hidden Gems

Richard M. Ankers - Author

There’s a diamond in my garden,

A ball of natural hue,

Where silver water ripples

To give cerulean hue.

It dangles like a bauble

Set out for all to see,

But the only one to notice

Is the sky, an ant, and me.

I wonder if there’s others,

All hid in emerald sea?

I think I’ll look tomorrow

And let this jewel be.
